Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) – Physical Security Technology Transformation
Location: Toronto, ON

Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst (5+ years of experience) to play a pivotal role in supporting client high-visibility Physical Security Technology Transformation. In this role, you will act as the crucial bridge between business stakeholders and technical development teams, navigating multiple interconnected workstreams and complex system integrations running simultaneously.
Our ideal candidate combines rigorous technical documentation skills (BRDs/SRDs) with exceptional stakeholder management and facilitation capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Management: Own the end-to-end requirements lifecycle by personally authoring Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), System Requirements Documents (SRDs), and detailed system specifications.
- Complex System Integration: Map out and understand end-to-end data flows, dependencies, and integration touchpoints across multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Stakeholder Facilitation: Drive requirements elicitation sessions, workshops, and consensus-building meetings with a diverse mix of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Partner with Dev/Integration teams to validate requirements, write comprehensive test cases, facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and document results.
- Agile Delivery: Utilize Jira and Confluence to manage backlogs, track workstream progress, and maintain clear documentation within Agile/Waterfall hybrid environments.
Qualifications & Core Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on Business Systems Analyst (BSA) experience within complex enterprise environments.
- Documentation Mastery: Proven track record of personally drafting comprehensive BRDs, SRDs, and functional/system requirements.
- Integration Acumen: Demonstrated experience working on complex system integrations with a strong grasp of technical dependencies and end-to-end data flows.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional relationship-building skills; a strong facilitator who asks the right questions, drives meetings to consensus, and bridges the gap between engineering and business units.
- Execution & Organization: Highly organized and independent with the ability to hit the ground running across multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Tool Proficiency: Strong practical experience with Jira, Confluence, and working knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Nice-to-Have (Big Plus, But Not Required)
- XSOAR Experience: Major advantage. Client utilizes XSOAR for physical-security incident and case management (tracking alerts, case ownership, escalations, SLAs, remediation, and closure).
- Domain Knowledge: Background in Physical Security, Emergency Preparedness, Business Continuity, 24/7 monitoring/alerting systems, or incident workflow systems.
