Senior Data Analyst I, Product

The Senior Data Analyst I, Product within Mistplay's Data department will play a crucial role in enhancing Mistplay's business performance through insightful analysis and driving analytics strategy. Reporting to the Manager of Data Analytics & Experimentation, you will collaborate with Product & Lifecycle Managers to plan and analyze the results of A/B tests, and drive insights reporting in order to inform the release of new product features and engagement strategies.

What You'll Be Doing:

Conduct proactive analysis to identify actionable insights, including diving into the core product funnel, user cohorts, and analyzing user behaviour data, in order to identify areas of the user experience that can be improved to drive new business opportunities.
Define KPIs for the company and build automated dashboards, reports, and models to enable teams at Mistplay to make better decisions.
Design, orchestrate, and analyze the results of multivariate product experiments to help drive growth, improve existing product features, and test new areas of opportunity.
Collaborate with data, product, marketing, and engineering stakeholders to define business problems, scope out projects, identify risks and dependencies, and create execution plans.

What We're Looking For:

BA/BS in Computer Science, Math, Economics, Statistics, or other quantitative fields
4+ years of work experience doing quantitative analysis (preferably in the tech industry) and a proven track record of impacting a business or product decisions
Pro-level ability to synthesize and communicate complex concepts and analyses in simple, easy-to-understand ways, to a wide range of technical and non-technical audiences
Past experience in A/B testing, and a strong foundational knowledge of core inferential statistics concepts (significance, power, confidence intervals, variance, etc.)
Fluency in SQL. Experience pulling highly dimensional and complex data, as well as modeling scenarios and sensitivity analysis using Excel
Experience with Python or another programming tool for statistical modeling
Familiarity with Tableau or any BI tool
Familiarity with cloud data technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Databricks to query and build data models and reports
Positive attitude and a healthy dose of natural curiosity. Questions have to be answered and our data isn't just going to analyze itself. (We're working on that.)

Bonus if you have:

A love of gaming and familiarity with the games industry
Understanding of data science and machine learning techniques
Experience working with very large data sets and distributed computing (Hive/Hadoop)

Au sein du service des données de Mistplay, l'analyste de données sénior I, Produit jouera un rôle crucial dans l'amélioration de la performance commerciale de Mistplay grâce à une analyse perspicace et à une stratégie d'analyse dynamique. Rattaché au Responsable de l'analyse des données et de l'expérimentation, tu collaboreras avec les responsables des produits et du cycle de vie pour planifier et analyser les résultats des tests A/B, et tu conduiras des rapports d'analyse afin d'informer le lancement de nouvelles fonctionnalités du produit et de stratégies d'engagement.

Tes missions chez Mistplay :

Mener des analyses proactives pour identifier des informations exploitables, notamment en se plongeant dans l'entonnoir du produit de base, les cohortes d'utilisateurs et en analysant les données relatives au comportement des utilisateurs, afin d'identifier les domaines de l'expérience utilisateur qui peuvent être améliorés pour générer de nouvelles opportunités d'affaires.

Définir des ICP pour l'entreprise et construire des tableaux de bord automatisés, des rapports et des modèles pour permettre aux équipes de Mistplay de prendre de meilleures décisions.

Concevoir, coordonner et analyser les résultats d'expériences multivariées sur les produits afin de stimuler la croissance, d'améliorer les caractéristiques des produits existants et de tester de nouveaux domaines d'opportunités.

Collaborer avec les parties prenantes des données, du produit, du marketing et de l'ingénierie pour définir les problèmes commerciaux, les projets, identifier les risques et les dépendances, et créer des plans d'exécution.

Ce que tu apporteras à Mistplay :

BA/BS en informatique, mathématiques, économie, statistiques ou autres domaines quantitatifs.

4+ ans d'expérience dans l'analyse quantitative (de préférence dans l'industrie technologique) et une expérience avérée de l'impact sur les décisions relatives à l'entreprise ou au produit.

Capacité à synthétiser et à communiquer des concepts et des analyses complexes de manière simple et facile à comprendre, à un large éventail de publics techniques et non techniques.

Expérience des tests A/B et solides connaissances de base des concepts de statistiques inférentielles (signification, puissance, intervalles de confiance, variance, etc.)

Maîtrise du langage SQL. Expérience de l'extraction de données complexes et hautement dimensionnelles, ainsi que de la modélisation de scénarios et de l'analyse de sensibilité à l'aide d'Excel.

Expérience de Python ou d'un autre outil de programmation pour la modélisation statistique

Familiarité avec Tableau ou tout autre outil de BI

Familiarité avec les technologies de données en nuage telles que AWS, Azure ou Databricks pour interroger et construire des modèles de données et des rapports.
