Steven's Bar-B-Q Restaurant is hiring an experienced Cook for our Markdale, Ontario location at 195 Toronto Street South. This is a permanent, full-time position paying $20.00 per hour, 40 hours per week. Language of work is English. Please note there are no benefits associated with this position.

Responsibilities:

• Plan menus and estimate food requirements

• Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, specializing in Canadian and Mediterranean cuisines

• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances

• Inspect kitchens and food service areas

• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers

• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment

• Clean kitchen and work areas and manage daily kitchen operations

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a cook

• Experience with Canadian and Mediterranean cuisines

• Experience preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances

• Reliable transportation (public transit is not available in this rural area)

• No degree, certificate, or diploma required
