Our client in Alliston is looking for a Process Engineering Manager. They are seeking someone who has been employed in a fast paced manufacturing environment where they directly managed process/manufacturing engineers.
Location: New Tecumseth, Ontario. 100% On Site
Position Type: Full-time, Permanent
Vacancy Status: This is an active vacancy
Compensation: $110,000 – $125,000 per year
Minimum Requirements
- A degree or diploma in mechanical engineering
- 5 years of engineering experience in a high-volume plastics or metals manufacturing environment.
- Experience as a manager overseeing Process or Manufacturing Engineers
- Working knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes for metals and plastics.
- Experience with CAD software
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic guidance and oversight for engineering initiatives and technical decision making.
- Drive continuous improvement by refining manufacturing methods to boost efficiency, enhance throughput, and minimize waste.
- Lead the creation, refinement, and deployment of production tooling, fixtures, and process workflows.
- Direct engineering programs from initial concept development through full operational rollout.
- Evaluate, authorize, and govern modifications to products and manufacturing processes.
- Offer technical direction and support during the launch of new products to ensure smooth integration into production.
