Join our Material & Quality team as a Material Sourcing Coordinator and help bring our luxury outerwear collections to life. Working alongside experienced professionals in material sourcing, quality, and supply chain, you'll gain hands-on exposure to the development of premium fabrics and trims while building a strong foundation for a career in sourcing, product development, and quality within the luxury fashion industry..
Some of What You'll Do:
- Monitor and follow up daily with suppliers on material sourcing, development, and approval processes to ensure all fabrics and trims are commercialized timely and successfully.
- Distribute approved fabric and trim standards to overseas mills and vendors.
- Assist with the prototypes and salesman samples material ordering process.
- Ensure all tracking tools and master data charts are up to date.
- Create and maintain visual material boards to support the season and brand direction.
- Ensure that all adopted materials are tested internally and externally through third parties following product requirements and with applicable calendar timelines.
- Organize Material Library.
- Maintain and update the PLM/material database on an ongoing basis.
- Issue and organize materials Purchase Orders and arrange payments for SMS materials.
- Assist with administrative and documentation tasks across the Material & Quality team.
- Carry out all other tasks related to material sourcing and quality control at the request of the immediate supervisor.
Some Of What You'll Need:
- College OR university degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Business, Textiles, or a comparable degree/education.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of work experience in Sourcing, Materials development, or Product development preferably within the outdoor apparel industry and/or Sportswear.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with PLM or ERP systems is an asset
- Good knowledge of outerwear, technical apparel, and fashion dynamics.
- Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
- Strong time management and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work as a team and maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion.

Given the international nature of our business and of this position, the candidate will be required to communicate effectively, on a regular basis, with various stakeholders (co-workers, colleagues, customers, suppliers, etc.) located in Canada outside Quebec or throughout the world. Proficiency in languages other than French (notably, English) will be an asset for the successful candidate.
