Modification Team Lead

Morson Edge is seeking an experienced Modification Team Lead to support plant modification projects at Ontario Power Generation’s Pickering Nuclear Generating Station.
The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams through the planning, design, installation and closeout of modifications, ensuring work is completed safely and in accordance with OPG’s engineering, quality and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of plant modifications from initiation through closeout.
- Coordinate engineering, project management, construction, operations, maintenance and procurement activities.
- Establish modification scope, priorities, schedules, budgets and execution plans.
- Monitor progress, identify risks and resolve technical or execution issues.
- Coordinate design reviews and ensure modification packages are complete, accurate and ready for implementation.
- Support constructability reviews, installation planning, testing, commissioning and turnover.
- Ensure modifications comply with applicable codes, standards, procedures and nuclear quality requirements.
- Manage interfaces between internal stakeholders, contractors, vendors and OPG representatives.
- Track deliverables, action items, design changes and project documentation.
- Provide regular progress updates and escalate issues that may affect safety, quality, cost or schedule.
- Promote strong nuclear safety, human performance and continuous improvement practices.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in engineering, engineering technology or a related technical discipline.
- Significant experience delivering modifications within a nuclear generating station or similarly regulated industrial environment.
- Previous experience as modification team lead, project engineering lead or field team lead.
- Strong understanding of the engineering change-control and plant-modification lifecycle.
- Experience with design, construction, commissioning and turnover activities.
- Knowledge of nuclear quality assurance, configuration management and applicable codes and standards.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain the required OPG security clearance.
