Position Summary
The Primary Manufacturing Associate is responsible for operating CNC press brake machines and related equipment to fabricate parts that meet precise specifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate CNC press brakes (e.g., Cincinnati Auto Form) and other fabrication machinery as part of the production process
- Select and install appropriate punches and dies based on material specifications
- Set up tooling, load programs and configure machine settings to ensure optimal performance
- Inspect tools and materials to confirm they are safe and suitable for use
- Fabricate parts in accordance with mechanical engineering drawings and dimensional tolerances
- Perform secondary operations such as sawing, punching, laser cutting, and tube bending as needed
- Prepare finished products for shipment and handle materials (up to 60 lbs.) manually or using hoists
- Maintain high standards of workplace organization, safety, and collaboration in line with company expectations
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience operating and programming a Cincinnati Auto Form or similar press brake machine
- High school diploma or GED is required
- Experience with CNC equipment and sheet metal fabrication strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of tooling and tool maintenance
- Familiarity with materials such as aluminum, steel, and stainless steel
- Experience with Laser cutting/NC shear punch/NC Tube bending/Laser tube cutting is considered a strong asset
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, tape measures, and calipers
