The Material Handler is a key part of Multi-Power's current Inventory team and is responsible for receiving, maintaining inventory levels and allocation of goods. This position is for a candidate who is detail oriented and able to work independently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
â˘Loading and unloading daily shipping trucks as requested â˘Following purchase order instructions to relocate received goods to allocated staging area or inventory locations â˘Convey inventory stock level differences of items being restocked to inventory control personnel â˘General cleanup of warehouses â˘General warehouse organisation daily â˘Construction and/or assembly of crates and containers â˘Physical inventory counts as directed by inventory control personnel â˘Local parts pick-ups â˘Coordinating with multiple departments to move and stage manufactured parts
â˘Assist inventory control personnel when requested with general warehouse duties: order picking and packing, assembling pallet racking and shelving, etc.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
â˘Good communication skills â˘Good organisational skills
â˘High School graduate, Grade 12 â˘Current driverâs license
â˘Physically fit (routinely required to lift items up to 25 kilograms)
