The Municipality of Port Hope is inviting community-minded residents to apply to serve on local boards and quasi-judicial committees for the 2026–2030 term.
Local boards and quasi-judicial committees play an important role in supporting transparent, informed, and community-focused decision-making. Participation provides residents with an opportunity to share their skills, experience, and perspectives while helping guide the future direction of our community.

Renumeration
Members appointed to the Committee of Adjustment receive annual remuneration of $1,200.
About
The Committee of Adjustment is a legislated committee established under Section 44 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13. The Committee considers and makes decisions on consent applications, minor variance applications and applications to permit the enlargement or extensions of legal non-conforming uses, among other matters authorized under the Planning Act
