Role Description The Therapist is responsible for delivering professional massage therapy treatments to clients in an on-site clinical setting in Toronto, ON. Day-to-day activities include assessing client needs, developing individualized treatment plans, performing therapeutic and relaxation massage techniques, and documenting treatment notes in a clear and accurate manner. The Therapist will educate clients on self-care, stretching, and other supportive practices, while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment. This full-time role includes collaborating with colleagues, managing appointment schedules, and upholding clinic policies and professional standards. The Therapist is expected to provide client-centered care, demonstrate strong communication skills, and contribute positively to the overall client experience.
Qualifications
- Relevant education from an accredited institution and eligibility for registration/licensure with the appropriate regulatory body in Ontario.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and common musculoskeletal conditions, with the ability to apply appropriate therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centered approach and ability to build trust and rapport.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to professional, ethical, and confidentiality standards.
- Capacity to work on-site full time or part-time in Toronto, ON, including managing a consistent caseload and maintaining punctuality and reliability.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development, openness to feedback, and willingness to collaborate with other health and wellness professionals.
