About Muslim Hands
In 1993, as the Bosnian War devastated Eastern Europe, a community in Nottingham, England, was compelled to act. A small group of dedicated volunteers began by gathering funds, clothing, and medical supplies for the people of Bosnia in their time of need.
What started as a grassroots response has since grown into Muslim Hands - an international humanitarian organization and NGO. Over the years, we have responded to countless emergencies across the globe while also establishing sustainable, long-term initiatives such as schools, health clinics, and livelihood programs.
Muslim Hands Canada is committed not only to delivering urgent aid, but to addressing the underlying causes of poverty worldwide. By working beyond immediate relief, we support sustainable solutions that empower communities to become self-reliant and secure lasting change for the future.
