Role Description The Level 2 Insurance Broker role at MyBrokers is a full-time, on-site position based in Edmonton, AB. In this role, the broker will advise personal clients on suitable insurance products, assess coverage needs, and prepare tailored quotes. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing policies, processing renewals and endorsements, handling inquiries, and supporting claims guidance where appropriate. The broker will build and maintain strong client relationships, provide clear explanations of policy terms, and ensure a high standard of service throughout the insurance lifecycle. Collaboration with insurance partners, accurate documentation, and adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements are key aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in EPIC and Insurance, with experience advising on personal lines.
- Candidates should possess foundational Policy knowledge to analyze coverage options, premiums, and risk-related considerations.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills, including active listening, problem solving, and relationship building.
- Valid Level 2 insurance license (or equivalent provincial designation) in Alberta.
- Previous experience in an insurance brokerage & EPIC
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Proficiency with brokerage management systems and common office software tools.
- Ability to work in an on-site team environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
