Role Description This full-time, on-site Insurance Broker role is based in Cambridge, ON. The Insurance Broker will consult with clients to understand their insurance needs, assess risk profiles, and recommend appropriate coverage options across personal and commercial lines. Daily responsibilities include preparing quotes, comparing policies from multiple insurers, processing applications, and managing policy renewals and changes. The role also involves responding to client inquiries, resolving issues, providing ongoing policy guidance, and maintaining accurate client records in internal systems. The Insurance Broker will collaborate with team members, stay current on industry regulations and products, and contribute to a positive, client-centered workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Insurance Brokerage and Insurance products, with experience advising clients on suitable coverage.
- Understanding of Finance and Retirement Planning to support clients with long-term risk management and financial security.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills, including active listening, empathy, and clear communication with diverse client populations.
- Valid insurance broker license in Ontario (RIBO) or eligibility to obtain licensing within a defined timeframe.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in Cambridge, ON, and manage multiple client cases with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with insurance brokerage software, CRM tools, and standard office applications.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to ethical and compliant practices.
- Previous experience in an insurance brokerage or related financial services environment is an asset.
