The NCRA is a non-profit association representing 100+ not-for-profit radio stations across Canada. Our members include both campus stations and community stations from coast to coast, all of whom are licensed with the Canadian Radio-Television and Commission (CRTC).
Campus and community radio stations provide a critical outlet for news, dialogue, diversity and culturally aware programming across Canada - particularly in rural parts of Canada, and underrepresented communities.
To us, community radio is about volunteerism, social engagement, independent music, learning by doing, community capacity building, citizen journalism and more. Here's a quick sketch of NCRA members, in all our diversity.
