Role Description The Product and Assortment Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mississauga, ON. This role is responsible for managing the product portfolio, identifying assortment gaps, and selecting new items that align with customer needs and category trends. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing sales and market data, monitoring product performance, coordinating with suppliers, and planning category assortments to optimize margins and inventory levels. The position also involves partnering with marketing and operations to support product launches, promotions, and merchandising strategies. The Product and Assortment Manager will continuously review and refine the offering to ensure Natura Market remains a leading destination for health-focused products.
Qualifications
- Experience with product assortment planning, category management, and portfolio optimization in retail or e-commerce.
- Strong analytical skills for sales reporting, demand forecasting, pricing, and margin analysis.
- Ability to build and maintain vendor relationships, negotiate terms, and coordinate product onboarding.
- Knowledge of health, wellness, and specialty food categories such as Paleo, Whole30, Keto, Gluten Free, and Plant Based.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and business tools (e.g., Excel, analytics platforms, inventory or ERP systems).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills across cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Previous experience in e-commerce, CPG, grocery, or retail merchandising is an asset.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
