Job Overview:
Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs and modifies software. Troubleshoots code for firmware (IC embedded code) applications. Work often involves analog and digital hardware and software operating systems. Position requires knowledge and exposure to hardware design. Typically programs in machine language, assembly language and high level languages (e.g., C, C++).
Responsibilities:
At a senior level, this role brings extensive experience and deep expertise in a specific function or area of specialty. The individual is expected to work cross-functionally to resolve complex challenges, anticipate system-wide issues, and develop strategic, long-term solutions. They translate technical concepts and their implications for non-technical audiences and constructively address feedback or objections. Strong influencing and persuasive skills are developed and applied to gain buy-in for complex recommendations.
The role provides technical leadership to large groups or complex, cross-functional project teams. In addition to managing their own workload, the individual supports team planning efforts to ensure deadlines and goals are met. They are responsible for planning, allocating, and managing resources for large-scale projects, developing specifications based on broad input, and leading teams to deliver results aligned with organizational objectives.

Experience Required:

Individuals are expected to influence decisions, mentor others, and take initiative in anticipating and solving systemic problems
Canada Pay Transparency Clause
This posting is for an existing vacancy. The expected annual base salary for this position is $100,000-150,000K CAD. This role may also be eligible for a company bonus or commission plan, as applicable to the position. Canadian work experience is not required. Automated or artificial intelligence–assisted tools may be used in the screening or assessment of applicants. Candidates who participate in an interview will be advised whether a hiring decision has been made within 45 days of the final interview, in accordance with applicable law.
