Purpose
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for building, assembling, maintaining, and troubleshooting machinery and mechanical components to support reliable and efficient operations. This role ensures equipment is assembled according to specifications, performs preventative and corrective maintenance, and contributes to the safe delivery of high-quality products. Working closely with established procedures and safety standards, the Mechanical Assembler plays a key role in operational excellence, continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining a safe, productive work environment where safety remains the highest priority.
Responsibilities
- Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements.
- Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability.
- Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Perform thorough maintenance of equipment.
- Safety will always be the top priority at Entegra Solutions.
- Ensure compliance with department processes, procedures, and practices to ensure the most accurate product delivery.
- Operational Excellence: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, consistently working towards the achievement of individual and team goals.
- Additional Duties: Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Understanding of machinery operation
- Aptitude in using various hand tools & power tools (torque wrenches, drills etc.)
- Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instruction, blueprints etc.
- Very good communication skills
- Good physical strength
- High school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or participation in apprenticeship is a definite plus
- Perform assigned tasks in a safe manner with limited supervision
- Always follow all safety rules, standards and procedures
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
