Position Summary
New Earth Solutions is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Consultant to join our growing team. The Sales Consultant will be responsible for driving sales for the exterior of buildings with Green Roof and living facade products, along with seasonal planters and landscaping restorations. This individual will contribute to the team by building strong client relationships in the design community, and contributing to the overall growth of the company through estimating on existing service contracts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for nature, sustainability and a proven track record in sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within target markets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand client requirements and propose suitable solutions.
- Present product demonstrations and deliver compelling sales presentations.
- Create designs and estimates for client projects
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with the technical and marketing teams to ensure client satisfaction and product development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Maintain pipeline hygiene in order to support their manager in reporting and forecasting
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and generate leads.
- Provide feedback to product development teams based on customer needs and market demand.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the landscape architecture space or related field.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices is a plus.
