New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking an experienced M365 Training Coordinator to support a large organization in delivering Microsoft 365 training to staff and other professionals. The successful candidate will facilitate engaging, instructor-led training sessions that improve digital literacy, strengthen productivity, and help employees make effective use of Microsoft 365 applications.
Responsibilities
- Deliver instructor-led Microsoft 365 training to staff with varying levels of technical proficiency, primarily through Microsoft Teams.
- Facilitate full-day training sessions and shorter, topic-specific classes of one or two hours.
- Provide training across Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, and Visio; Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Lists, and Planner; OneDrive and Microsoft Forms; and Computer fundamentals and digital literacy.
- Develop and maintain course objectives, lesson plans, and practical exercises appropriate for different skill levels.
- Adapt training content to reflect organizational workflows, practical use cases, and available Microsoft 365 licensing and functionality.
- Collaborate with Learning Services to review and update existing training content and introduce new courses as Microsoft 365 capabilities evolve.
- Deliver occasional in-person training at facilities when requested.
- Incorporate learner feedback and training evaluations to continuously improve course delivery and effectiveness.
- Support learners in understanding Microsoft 365 features and how they can be applied to everyday work activities.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience delivering instructor-led Microsoft 365 training to adult learners in a professional or enterprise environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Teams, SharePoint Online, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive, Forms, and Visio.
- Experience developing lesson plans, learning objectives, and practical training exercises.
- Ability to deliver engaging virtual training sessions and adapt instructional techniques to different learning styles and technical skill levels.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot and its integration with Microsoft 365 applications.
- Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to adapt training content to organizational needs.
- Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification and a Provincial Instructor Diploma or equivalent qualifications are preferred.
- Experience delivering training within large healthcare organizations is an asset.
- Experience developing training for both web-based and desktop Microsoft 365 applications is an asset.
- Must have access to a vehicle and be available to travel to facilities for occasional onsite training.
