New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking a Software Development Lead to provide technical leadership and hands-on development across enterprise Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions.
The Software Development Lead will focus on the design, development, integration, and technical delivery of enterprise applications using Dynamics 365, Power Platform, C#/.NET, Microsoft Azure, Dataverse, and related technologies. The successful candidate will provide technical ownership across projects, work closely with Architecture, Platform, Security, Infrastructure, Data, DevOps, and business teams, and help ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design, development, integration, and implementation of enterprise applications using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
- Provide hands-on development and technical leadership across Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Field Service, and/or other Dynamics 365 CE applications.
- Design, configure, customize, and develop solutions using Power Apps, Canvas Apps, Model-driven Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Fx, and Power Apps Component Framework (PCF).
- Develop and support enterprise applications and integrations using C#/.NET, REST APIs, Microsoft Azure, and related technologies.
- Design and review enterprise application architectures and provide technical recommendations throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Provide technical ownership and leadership for projects involving multiple technology and business teams.
- Coordinate with Platform, Security, Infrastructure, Data, DevOps, Architecture, and other enterprise teams to support solution delivery.
- Design and support integrations between Dynamics 365/Power Platform and other enterprise applications and services.
- Support application lifecycle management using Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Dynamics 365/Power Platform ALM practices.
- Design and maintain Microsoft Dataverse solutions, including data models, relationships, security, business rules, workflows, Power Automate flows, and business process flows.
- Apply strong SQL Server and database fundamentals when designing, integrating, and troubleshooting enterprise solutions.
- Provide technical guidance to development teams and coordinate delivery across stakeholders without necessarily having direct authority over participating teams.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering/development experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on Dynamics 365/Power Platform experience, including configuration, customization, development, integrations, and end-to-end implementation.
- Strong experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Field Service, and/or other Dynamics 365 CE applications.
- Hands-on experience with Power Apps, Canvas Apps, Model-driven Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Fx, and PCF.
- 5+ years of strong C#/.NET development experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a Software Development Lead, Technical Lead, Senior Developer, Architect, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience designing and reviewing enterprise application architectures.
- Experience providing technical ownership or leadership for projects involving multiple technology and business teams.
- Experience coordinating with Platform, Security, Infrastructure, Data, DevOps, Architecture, and other enterprise teams.
- Strong Microsoft Azure, REST API, and enterprise integration experience.
- Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Dynamics 365/Power Platform application lifecycle management.
- Strong Microsoft Dataverse experience, including its data model, relationships, security, business rules, workflows, Power Automate, and business process flows.
- Strong SQL Server and database fundamentals.
- Proven ability to influence and coordinate teams without direct authority.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent professional experience.
