Welcome to NewfoundHands Integration and Training Inc.

Our mandate is clear: to connect immigrants, EI recipients, and youth to meaningful careers in skilled trades and help them overcome barriers along the way. We believe that when everyone has access to opportunity, communities thrive.

We guide participants through a two-stage pathway: pre-apprenticeship preparation to build awareness and interest, followed by employer-partnered training that provides 6-12 months of hands-on experience. Our approach removes the financial, informational, and cultural barriers that prevent talented individuals from accessing well-paying trades careers.

Through direct employer partnerships, we create pipelines from training to employment in high-demand trades. We support participants with stipends during training, career coaching, and connections to Red Seal apprenticeship pathways.

We actively collaborate with employers, training providers, and community organizations to build a more inclusive and skilled workforce in Newfoundland and Labrador.
