Location Montreal
At Stingray, creativity, collaboration, and innovative technology are at the core of our DNA. Are you ready to rock your career by joining a fast-growing company and a team of music enthusiasts in a stimulating and fun work environment?
Stingray (TSX: RAY.A; RAY.B), a global music, media, and technology company, is an industry leader in TV broadcasting, streaming, radio, business services, and advertising. Stingray provides commercial music, digital signage solutions, and in-store media to businesses worldwide. We are a team of passionate individuals dedicated to delivering exceptional visual and auditory experiences for our enterprise clients.
Reporting to Operations Leadership, the Project Manager (PM) leads complex digital signage, audio, and technology deployment projects from initial handoff through final sign-off. This is a strategic, high-ownership role requiring strong governance, budget oversight, and proactive risk mitigation.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong entrepreneurial spirit - someone who takes full ownership of their projects, thrives in a fast-paced environment, thinks resourcefully when faced with unexpected hurdles, and drives continuous innovation within our operations. In addition to delivering projects on time and on budget, the PM will mentor Project Coordinators within their pod.
Your day-to-day
- End-to-End Project Ownership: Take full accountability for the lifecycle of client rollouts, including scoping, timeline creation, milestone tracking, and budget management.
- Dedicated Mentorship & Coaching: Pair with and mentor assigned Project Coordinator(s) (PCs); systematically delegate tactical tasks, impart technical and account context, and guide their professional development into future PM roles.
- Entrepreneurial Problem Solving: Proactively identify delivery risks, implement creative solutions, monitor project margins, and navigate complex client requirements.
- Client & Stakeholder Alignment: Lead project kickoff meetings and regular status calls with client executives, serving as the trusted operational leader for major accounts.
- Cross-Functional Pod Collaboration: Drive weekly Pod Syncs with Account Executives (AEs) and Account Managers (AMs) to review project health, address hurdles, and plan upcoming pipeline resources.
- Process Innovation: Actively contribute to standardizing team templates, workflows, site survey forms, and post-installation reviews.
- Attitude & Mindset: An entrepreneurial spirit - resourceful, self-driven, accountable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity to deliver results.
- Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in project management, ideally within AV, digital signage, IT, telecommunications, or SaaS rollouts.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with project management software (Smartsheet, Jira, NetSuite) and CRM systems (Salesforce).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French (bilingualism required).
- Leadership & Organization: Strong organizational acumen with demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and mentor junior team members.
- Certifications: PMP, CAPM, or Agile certification is considered a strong asset.
- Required: Technical knowledge in AV (Audio-Visual) systems, digital signage displays/hardware, commercial audio routing, and site installation readiness.
- Responsibility: Comfortable coordinating directly with AV Designers, field installers, and hardware vendors on technical project scope.
