Your Impact
As a
Supervisor, Mine Operations, Underground, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible day to day operations of the underground mine at the Brucejack Mine Site.
Through guidance and consultation with the Mine Superintendents, this position ensures all underground/site activities adhere to all Health, Safety and Environmental regulations as well as all company standards/policies and procedures.
As Part of Our Team, You Will
- Lead by example to foster a strong safety culture and compliance with policies and regulations
- Provide oversight and daily reporting on underground mining contractor performance
- Assist in planning and managing contractor activities to maximize operational value
- Monitor contractor performance in mine maintenance and cost-plus activities
- Respond to underground issues requiring immediate attention
- Conduct monthly safety compliance and performance evaluations
- Provide expertise on underground mining methods, technologies, and ground support
- Assist in the planning and execution of the underground mine plan, ensuring contractor compliance with company priorities
- Attend and participate in daily short interval control meetings, providing insights into delays and scheduling impacts
- Lead the management of incidents, ensuring thorough investigations, data collection, and corrective action implementation
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
- Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to safety leadership and environmental stewardship
- Proven ability to lead mining operations and supervise teams in a production-focused environment
- Hold a valid BC Underground Shiftboss Ticket
- Confident user of digital tools for reporting, communication, and operational planning (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Valid First Aid Certificate
- Demonstrate success overseeing contractors in both technical and operational settings
- Strong leadership capability with a focus on team development, mentorship, and accountability
- Effective communicator with the ability to convey expectations, priorities, and safety standards clearly in both written and verbal formats

- Remote camp setting with private accommodations provided
- Onsite meals, gym, recreation, and entertainment facilities
- Travel allowance and transportation arrangements included
- Rotational schedule: 13 days on / 13 days off
- Drug & alcohol-free workplace (pre-employment testing required)

The expected salary range for this role is
$105,800 - $141,100 / year. This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. Join our team today!
