We are seeking an experienced Human Resources professional who is looking to play a key role within our Quebec operations while serving as a trusted partner to both managers and employees.
Your Role
Reporting to the Canada HR Manager, you will act as the primary HR partner on-site, supporting managers and employees across a wide range of human resources activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & Onboarding
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process.
- Draft and post job advertisements.
- Participate in interviews and candidate selection.
- Coordinate new employee orientation and onboarding.
- Monitor and manage probationary period follow-ups.
Employee Relations & Management Support
- Advise and support managers on human resources matters.
- Manage employee relations issues and workplace concerns.
- Participate in workplace investigations and disciplinary processes.
- Support managers with performance management and employee development.
- Participate in employee termination processes when required.
HR Administration & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and compliant employee records.
- Coordinate documentation related to hires, promotions, transfers, leaves, and terminations.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation, pay equity requirements, and company policies.
- Participate in HR audits and reporting activities.
Benefits & Leave Administration
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefit programs.
- Coordinate administrative aspects of disability and leave cases.
- Submit employee changes and required adjustments to the payroll team.
- Liaise with insurance providers and external partners as needed.
Training & Development
- Coordinate training and employee development activities.
- Monitor completion of mandatory training requirements.
- Support the implementation of corporate HR programs and initiatives.
- Analyze workforce trends and recommend practical solutions and improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive Human Resources experience in a generalist role.
- Strong experience in employee relations and manager coaching.
- Solid knowledge of Quebec employment legislation.
- Bilingual in French and English. (regularly communicate, both verbally and in writing, with English-speaking employees located in Quebec and with colleagues and direct management across North America. In addition, corporate services and cross-functional activities, including Human Resources, Finance, Benefits Administration, Payroll Support, Information Technology, and leadership communications, are conducted in English in collaboration with teams based in the United States)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with an HRIS (ADP is considered an asset).

This position
does not include payroll processing or day-to-day time and attendance administration. The incumbent supports the payroll function by submitting employee changes, required documentation, and payroll-related adjustments to the appropriate payroll resources.
