Nimmo Bay Wilderness Resort

Nimmo Bay Resort is an intimate family-owned and operated wilderness lodge located in the Great Bear Rainforest of British Columbia, on Canada’s rugged west coast. The remote location and tailored itineraries provide guests with extraordinary wilderness and wildlife experiences by land, water, and sky. Accessible by float plane or helicopter, Nimmo Bay offers the opportunity to slow down to the rhythms of nature.

Discover the magnificence of this region with abundant wildlife and pristine landscapes from lush rainforest and river valleys all the way up to mountaintops and 10,000-year-old glaciers. Daily adventures and activities offer guests access to 50,000-square-miles of wilderness. Whether watching black bears from a kayak, exploring the Broughton Archipelago on the look-out for whales, heli-hiking along mountain ridges, paddle boarding on glacial lakes, or fishing for wild Pacific salmon, the options are plenty.

At the lodge, guests can unwind with a soak in the hot tub next to the waterfall, relax with a massage or yoga class, and enjoy an evening of story-telling around the fire as the stars come out - this is how the wilderness should be experienced.
