Position: Automation Engineer Co-op/Intern

EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS
Currently enrolled in the third or fourth year of a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer/Software/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field with an accredited school in Canada.
Responsibilities
As part of our team, you will:
- Design, implement, and evaluate modular agentic workflows, custom agent skills, and tool-calling interfaces to automate complex multi-step tasks.
- Prepare evaluation datasets and create scripts to benchmark agentic accuracy, tool-use reliability, and output consistency.
- Test NTA scripts with autonomous agents and collaborate with engineers across networking domains (IP, Optical, and Fixed Networks).
- Contribute to reference HLD/LLDs and maintain documentation, how-to guides, and wiki updates in partnership with domain experts.

- Experience with SQL, or similar data analysis and automation tools.
- Familiarity with operational processes and workflows in a technology-driven environment.
- Prior internship, co-op, academic project, or consulting experience related to software development.
- Experience with Power Automate or other workflow automation tools.
- Exposure to forecasting, demand planning, or business performance reporting.
