North Brands Group Ltd. (“NBG”), is Canada’s largest independent retailer specializing in dresswear and casual clothing for boys and girls. Operating under the Northboys and Northgirls banners, NBG owns and manages four retail locations - three dedicated to boys and one to girls - along with two e-commerce platforms, Northboys.ca and Northgirls.ca.

Founded in 2011, Northboys was created to address a gap in the teen boys’ apparel market. Before its launch, no dedicated retail space in North America catered specifically to boys aged 11–16. Traditional children's stores felt too juvenile, while men's retailers lacked appropriately sized selections at accessible price points. Northboys was designed to bridge this gap by offering a shopping experience tailored exclusively for teenage boys, combining the sophistication of a men’s store with styles suited to their needs. Northboys features the largest selection of boys' dresswear in North America, including suits, shirts, and dress pants, as well as a curated collection of casualwear. The stores also carry premium brands such as Hugo Boss, Emporio Armani, Diesel, Scotch & Soda, Psycho Bunny, and Ralph Lauren - sourcing up-and-coming labels to keep teens engaged with the latest trends.

In response to customer demand, NBG expanded its portfolio in 2021 with the launch of Northgirls, bringing the same specialized shopping experience to girls.
