Role Description This contract, on-site Registered Massage Therapist role is based at North Vancouver Chiropractic in North Vancouver, BC. The RMT will provide therapeutic and relaxation-focused massage treatments, conduct assessments, and develop treatment plans aligned with patient needs and clinic guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting patients, reviewing health histories, performing appropriate massage techniques, documenting treatment notes, and offering education on home care and preventive strategies. The RMT will coordinate care with chiropractors and other providers, maintain a clean and safe treatment space, and adhere to professional and regulatory standards. Flexibility in scheduling, reliability, and commitment to excellent patient service are essential.
Qualifications
- Strong therapeutic massage skills, including therapeutic massage and body massage techniques.
- Competence in specialized modalities such as shiatsu and related manual therapy approaches.
- Ability to support stress management through tailored massage treatments and patient education.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on empathetic, respectful, and clear communication.
- Current registration and good standing with the applicable provincial College of Massage Therapists.
- Knowledge of clinical documentation standards and basic musculoskeletal anatomy.
- Capacity to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinic and manage an independent caseload.
- Professional conduct, punctuality, and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and safety.
