This position is based on site at the NWR Sturgeon Refinery working a 9/80 schedule.
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Warehouse Lead, the Warehouse Attendant is accountable by supporting the pick/ship/receive materials to and from NWR’s Refinery site. This role will provide support to the tool crib and assist in locating materials at satellite warehouses when required. Cycle counts and various organizational projects will be required when appropriate.
Responsibilities:
Receive all materials arriving at warehouse(s)Provide escort for deliveries as requiredCheck delivery against Bill of Lading (BOL) to ensure match, sign copy for driver;Deliveries recorded in Material Receiving Report (MRR) log;Prioritize receipt of hot shot deliveries;Check material against pack slip;Process receipt of goods into CMMS (Maximo);Identify, label and place materials onto work order shelving or into warehouse bins per process (includes assignment of bins in satellite warehouses);Scan and attach all packing slips and BOL’s from receipts and all material issues in Maximo.Ship materials from warehouseAccept materials from field to be shipped ensuring appropriate process is managedVerify materials to be shipped against request;Provide all required documentation (TDG, SDS, RGA, international shipping documents) as well as BOL and Material Gate Pass (MGP);Update the shipping log for repair items.Issue material from warehouse- Responsible for issuing work orders from the storage shelves;
- Responsible for processing daily picks and staging the material in designated area;
- Issue items directly from Maximo when requested;
- Responsible for the issue of chemical from W2 and compressed gas.
- Safety
- Wear proper PPE at all times;
- Ensure FLHA is filled out at beginning of shift;
- Report unsafe conditions immediately to lead or safety personnel;
- Report all incidents immediately and ensures the scene is frozen;
- Ensure daily fork lift checks are completed.
Requirements:
- Understands, creates and maintains a visible commitment to process and personal safety, as well as the safety of others; adheres to NWR’s Core Competencies to drive results and a high performing culture;
- Valid driver’s license;
- Minimum 5 years shipping/receiving experience;
- CMMS experience (Maximo/SAP/JDE, or equivalent);
- MS Office Intermediate skills (outlook, word, excel);
- TDG/TDG 7;
- Emergency First Aid Level C;
- WHMIS/GHS;
- Materials/Parts Technician Journeyman considered an asset;
- Industrial oil & gas experience preferred;
- Lift truck experience;
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. kneeling, bending and standing for long periods. Walking on rough terrain uneven surfaces;
- Working in cold or hot conditions with all-weather types;
- Walking, bending, lifting and reaching, sitting at a desk, completing paperwork, or performing computer data entry.
