About the Role
The Licensing Marketing Coordinator supports the marketing and promotion of Northcott's licensed fabric collections, ensuring every campaign, packaged product, and activation stays true to brand guidelines while driving engagement across both B2B wholesale customers and consumer/end-user audiences in the craft community. Reporting to the Brand Manager, this role collaborates closely with licensing partners/licensors as well as internal graphics, content, digital marketing, and operations teams.
This is an in-office role based in Vaughan, Ontario.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate marketing execution for licensed fabric collections, ensuring all materials meet licensor brand guidelines and approval requirements
- Contribute to the creative development and execution of packaged products, from concept through final production
- Manage the approval submission process with licensing partners for marketing assets, packaging, and promotional content
- Plan and manage content calendars across digital, print, and social channels, balancing B2B trade messaging with consumer-facing storytelling
- Support campaign development from product storytelling through photography and creative asset production
- Develop and support influencer partnerships and brand ambassador relationships that build consumer engagement with licensed lines
- Coordinate media opportunities and collaborations tied to licensed lines
- Manage timelines and logistics for marketing materials, photoshoots, and licensor check-ins
- Develop social media content that engages the creative community while staying compliant with licensing terms
- Plan and support brand presence and activations at trade shows, conventions, and product launches, as well as consumer-facing events
- Track licensing marketing deliverables and deadlines across multiple concurrent brand programs
- Use analytics to refine storytelling and strengthen engagement across both trade and consumer channels
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or brand development (licensing experience a plus)
- Strong organizational skills and comfort managing approval workflows and deadlines
- Excellent written and visual communication skills with attention to brand consistency
- Familiarity with handcraft, fabric, quilting, or licensed consumer product industries
- Understanding of both B2B marketing (retail/wholesale partners) and consumer-facing marketing tactics
- Experience with influencer partnerships or brand ambassador programs
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across creative, digital, and operations functions
- Comfort with digital marketing tools, content planning platforms, and social media
