Original job description
We are currently looking for a hard working and dedicated Environmental Services Worker to fill a Casual position at the Parkside Intermediate Care Home.
In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, this position performs a variety of environmental services duties throughout the facility. Maintains clean and disinfected conditions in areas such as patient/resident/client rooms, Operating Rooms, Diagnostic Imaging and Laboratory, Labour and Delivery Rooms, washrooms, corridors, hallways, lounges, offices, and common areas used by staff, visitors and patients/residents/clients as established in Northern Health Regional Environmental Services Policies and Processes.

Responsibilities
Clean and disinfect patient and resident rooms, operating rooms, diagnostic and laboratory areas, labour and delivery rooms, washrooms, corridors, lounges, offices, and common areas. Perform environmental services duties throughout the facility in accordance with Northern Health policies and processes.
