At NSPC Law Firm, we are dedicated to providing compassionate, strategic, and high-quality advocacy for families navigating complex family law matters.
We are expanding our team and looking for a passionate Family Lawyer to join us in supporting clients through life-changing transitions.
About the Role:
* Position: Family Lawyer (1–3 years experience)
* Location: Ottawa, ON (Hybrid Remote / Work from Home options)
* Type: Contract / Freelance (15–25 hours/week)
* Compensation: Starting at $100.00/hour + flexible schedule
What You’ll Do:
* Advise clients on divorce, child custody, visitation rights, spousal support, and property division.
* Draft legal documents, settlement agreements, pleadings, and court submissions with precision.
* Conduct legal research and negotiate fair, amicable resolutions.
* Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
Qualifications:
* Licensed with the Law Society of Ontario and in good standing.
* Valid LawPro Insurance.
* 1–3 years of family law practice experience.
* Strong negotiation, analytical, and document-drafting skills.
