We are looking for a Driver Class 1A to add to our Team.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Conducting and filling out reports for pre and post shift inspection of equipment
- Ensure load is fully secured
- Deliver trusses and other building materials
- Ensure deliveries are made on time and include all necessary materials
- Responsible for using all equipment and operating all machinery in a safe, correct and careful manner as instructed
- Maintaining delivery timelines
- Conduct yourself in a professional and courteous manner at all times
- Keeps truck clean
- Other duties as required
Knowledge
- Current Class 1A with air
- Clear driving abstract
- Forklift experience an asset
- Knowledge of City of and surrounding area
- Understand city bylaws and permit requirements
- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times
- Safety oriented
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Able to follow instructions
- Dependable
