Key Responsibilities
Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
Provide companionship and personal care
Follow and execute the client’s care plan as designed by the Care Designer
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) within scope of practice
Support safe transfers, ambulation, and prescribed exercises
Ensure client safety and proper use of equipment
Work within your training, experience, and scope of practice
Complete accurate and thorough documentation
Experience supporting clients with dementia and responsive behaviors is an asset
Position Requirements
Currently enrolled in or completed a recognized caregiver education program
Valid Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening (issued within the last year)
Negative TB skin test or chest X-ray (within the past 2 years)
Two professional references
