Role Description The Front Desk Receptionist will be responsible for greeting clients and visitors, managing incoming calls, and directing inquiries to the appropriate team members. Day-to-day tasks include handling appointment scheduling, maintaining a tidy reception area, managing mail and courier deliveries, and performing basic clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry. The role also involves supporting lawyers and staff with administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth flow of information and a positive client experience. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Corner Brook, NL.
Qualifications
- Strong receptionist and front desk skills, including experience with Receptionist Duties and managing a professional office environment.
- Excellent Phone Etiquette and Communication skills for handling calls, messages, and client interactions clearly and courteously.
- Solid Clerical Skills, including basic computer proficiency, document handling, and appointment scheduling.
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills with a client-focused approach and the ability to manage inquiries calmly and efficiently.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a busy legal office.
- Reliability, discretion, and professionalism when handling confidential information.
- Previous experience in a professional services environment, such as a law firm or office setting, is an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in office administration or a related field is considered an advantage.
