Job Description
The Analyst, Fund Marketing and Operations is an intermediate level position responsible for supporting the Oak Hill leadership team and sales team with a variety of responsibilities as described below.
The role will be based in Toronto and will require the individual to work in-office. This role offers significant exposure to Oak Hill’s senior leadership, global asset management firms, and other prominent asset management industry stakeholders, with a path for advancement as Oak Hill continues to grow. Compensation will be competitive and commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
- Creating and refining key messaging on the merits of Oak Hill’s funds;
- Preparation and dissemination of Fund marketing documents (presentations, fact sheets, etc.);
- Organization and marketing of asset management webinars, roadshows, and other events;
- Responding to investor and dealer inquiries regarding Oak Hill’s funds, including supporting dealer onboarding for funds;
- Act as a resource for Oak Hill’s asset management wholesalers with respect to fund-related inquiries;
- Conducting analysis of fund risk and performance attributes relative to peers and benchmarks;
- Support the tracking and analysis of sales and other relevant data in Oak Hill’s CRM;
- Support the day-to-day operations of Oak Hill’s funds, as needed;
- Support the formation of new Oak Hill funds, business development initiatives, and other opportunities to contribute to the overall growth of Oak Hill Financial;
- Other ad hoc projects, as required.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience, including in fund marketing, operations, or a related field.
- Previous experience with alternative asset management strategies, such as merger arbitrage, long-short, global macro, and multi-strategy funds.
- Completion of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, with a preferred focus on finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of the asset management industry and retail wealth advisory.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
Additional Preferences
- Previous experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM platform;
- Previous experience with Bloomberg;
- Pursuit of CFA Charter and/or completion of a graduate degree in a related field (MBA, Master of Finance);
- French fluency considered an asset, but not a necessity
