About the role:
As a Wealth Associate, you’ll partner closely with a senior advisor to deliver an exceptional experience to a book of established clients. You’ll be involved in every stage of the client relationship, from preparing financial plans and portfolio reviews to joining client meetings and keeping everything running smoothly afterward.
This role suits someone who has built a solid foundation in financial services and is ready for more responsibility. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to comprehensive financial planning, including investments, retirement, tax, estate and insurance strategies. You’ll also have a clear path to grow toward an advisory career.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Client planning and advice support:
- Prepare financial plans, portfolio reviews, investment proposals and meeting materials
- Gather and analyze client financial information to support planning recommendations
- Join client meetings, document discussions and manage follow-up action items
- Monitor client portfolios and flag opportunities for rebalancing or review
Client service and relationships
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, responding to questions and service requests promptly and professionally
- Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and their families
- Deliver a consistent, high-quality experience across every interaction
Operations and compliance
- Process account openings, transfers, contributions, withdrawals and trades
- Manage new client onboarding from start to finish
- Keep client records, CRM notes and compliance documentation accurate and current
- Make sure all activity meets regulatory and firm standards
Practice growth
- Support business development through client events, outreach campaigns and referral initiatives
- Help improve practice workflows and processes to enhance efficiency and the client experience
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- 2–3 years of experience in financial services, ideally in a similar associate, advisor-support or client service role
- A university degree
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC)
- CFP designation preferred, or a strong desire to pursue it
- Solid understanding of investment products and financial planning concepts
- Excellent organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a client-first mindset
- Comfort with financial planning software, CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- A proactive, team-oriented approach and a genuine interest in building a long-term career in wealth management
