About the Role
Our client is looking for an organized, people-focused Office Admin & HR professional to join their team.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys both people and organization - someone who can keep day-to-day HR and office processes moving, support employees and management, and help the company continue building better systems as it grows.
What You'll Do
- Coordinate day-to-day HR and office administration
- Support recruitment, onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding
- Maintain employee records, documentation, training, and other HR requirements
- Support employee relations, performance management processes, and follow-up
- Help maintain HR policies, procedures, and employment-related compliance
- Improve existing systems, processes, and documentation, and create new tools, workflows, and procedures where needed
- Support employee engagement, recognition, team events, and other initiatives that contribute to a positive workplace
- Provide administrative support to the CEO and other areas of the business as needed
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is organized, proactive, tech-savvy, and people-focused, with practical HR and office administration experience.
You'll be comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities, while also genuinely enjoying being part of a team. You should be comfortable and confident with technology, with an interest in improving systems, identifying inefficient or incomplete processes, and finding practical ways to make things more organized and effective.
Strong communication, follow-through, judgment, and discretion are important in this role.
Knowledge of BC employment standards and HR best practices is preferred. Experience with recruitment, WorkSafeBC, construction or field-based workforces, employment-related immigration, or Spanish language skills would be considered an asset.
Position Details
Salary: $55,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday
Location: Vancouver, primarily office-based
Reports to: CEO
