Role Description The Technopedagogue will design, develop, and implement digital learning experiences that align with OmniZoé Inc.’s educational objectives. This contract role is hybrid, based in Montreal, QC, with a mix of on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing learner needs, selecting appropriate educational technologies, and creating engaging instructional materials such as modules, videos, interactive activities, and assessments. The Technopedagogue will collaborate with subject matter experts to translate content into clear, accessible learning paths, support instructors in using learning platforms, and monitor the effectiveness of training through data and learner feedback. The role also includes maintaining documentation, recommending improvements to learning ecosystems, and ensuring that all learning solutions are inclusive, learner-centered, and aligned with best practices in pedagogy and andragogy.
Qualifications
- Strong background in instructional design and pedagogy, including experience planning learning objectives, structuring curricula, and applying evidence-based teaching methods.
- Proficiency with digital learning tools and platforms (e.g., LMS systems, authoring tools, video and multimedia creation tools, collaboration platforms) and comfort integrating new educational technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to create clear, concise, and engaging learning materials for diverse audiences, using accessible language and inclusive design principles.
- Experience analyzing learner needs and performance data to refine content, improve engagement, and measure learning outcomes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with educators, subject matter experts, and technical teams in a hybrid environment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a contract setting.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles, universal design for learning (UDL), and equity, diversity, and inclusion practices in education.
- Relevant post-secondary education in instructional design, education, educational technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Professional experience in technopedagogy, e-learning development, or educational technology, preferably in a bilingual (French/English) Montreal context.
