Role: Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant
Reports To: Delivery Lead
Location: Remote/Hybrid, dependent on location. Based anywhere in Canada. Some travel may be required.
Experience: 10+ years of experience implementing the D365 Finance module.
Salary: Base CAD 120K-140K annually + Health Benefits
OnActuate is seeking a driven and experienced Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant to strengthen our consulting practice across North America, with a focus on the US and Canadian public sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Lead Functional Consultant, driving solution design and delivery for D365 Finance & Supply Chain implementations.
- Lead the end-to-end design, configuration, and implementation of ERP solutions within the D365 Finance & Supply Chain application.
- Deliver client training on D365 Finance & Supply Chain application and any OnActuate-supported add-on solutions.
- Guide and support clients through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and cut over ensuring solutions meet business requirements.
- Contribute to pre-sales activities, including RFP responses and solution presentations.
- Prepare and execute solution demonstrations tailored to prospect requirements and scripts.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, consistently exceeding customer expectations.
- Mentor and coach junior team members to foster professional growth and strengthen team capability.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience implementing the D365 Finance module in large, fast-paced sales environments, with a proven track record of delivering measurable results.
- Successful completion of at least 3 end-to-end Dynamics 365 Finance implementations within the US or Canadian public sector.
- Experience with greenfield implementations is preferred, not mandatory.
- Experience in Project Accounting, Fund Accounting, Budgeting & Budget Control, Encumbrances & Commitments and other Public Sector specific requirements.
- Effective business analysis skills in understanding client needs and delivering appropriate solutions.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in leading meetings, workshops, and solution demonstrations.
Preferred Experience / Certification
- Accounting/Finance certification is an asset.
- Working experience of solutioning integrations with third party applications.
- Experience in managing requirements lifecycle in DevOps is a plus.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem and related solutions.
