Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, on-site role based in Calgary, AB, responsible for leading all financial strategy and operations for ONSITE3D. The CFO will oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and capital planning, while ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing financial controls, overseeing the preparation and analysis of financial statements, and monitoring key performance indicators to support data-driven decision making. The role will collaborate closely with executive leadership to support growth initiatives, assess investment opportunities, and manage risk across projects and business units. The CFO will also lead and develop the finance team, maintain relationships with banks, auditors, and other financial partners, and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Financial Planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparation, analysis, and presentation.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Finance and capital management, including cash flow, investments, and risk management.
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting financial data, modeling scenarios, and supporting strategic decisions.
- Extensive experience in senior financial leadership roles, preferably as a CFO or equivalent in industrial, construction, or related sectors.
- Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) and a university degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing finance teams and to collaborate effectively with cross-functional leadership.
- Experience with ERP systems, financial software, and process improvement within a growing organization.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
