About Optimize Financial Group
Optimize Financial Group is a premier wealth management firm based in Toronto, ON, dedicated to helping clients achieve their financial and life goals. We provide personalized financial solutions across financial planning, portfolio management, tax preparation, debt management, estate planning, insurance, and mortgages. Our holistic approach allows clients to access coordinated advice and solutions in one place.
The Opportunity
We are seeking a Licensed Mortgage Agent to serve Optimize’s established corporate client base and existing client relationships. This is not a cold-start or commission-only role: you will be supported by a strong platform, trusted client relationships, and meaningful opportunities to provide mortgage solutions to clients already connected to the Optimize ecosystem.
The successful candidate will be a strong salesperson and relationship manager who is comfortable meeting with clients, identifying needs, explaining solutions clearly, following up consistently, and seeing each opportunity through from the initial conversation to completion.
You will play an important role in helping clients access mortgage financing and you will work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver a smooth, professional, and client-first experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage mortgage opportunities from initial consultation through submission, lender conditions, approval, funding, and post-closing follow-up.
- Meet with existing Optimize clients to understand their mortgage financing needs.
- Conduct professional client consultations by phone, video, or in person, and clearly explain relevant mortgage options, requirements, timelines, and next steps.
- Gather and review client information and supporting documentation to prepare complete, accurate mortgage applications.
- Maintain consistent, proactive communication with clients to keep files moving and ensure an excellent client experience.
- Coordinate effectively with lenders, underwriters, lawyers, insurers, internal advisors, and other relevant parties.
- Maintain accurate client notes, documentation, and pipeline activity in the company’s CRM and mortgage systems.
- Ensure all activities are completed in accordance with applicable licensing, privacy, disclosure, suitability, compliance, and record-keeping requirements.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous mortgage, lending, banking, insurance, wealth management, financial services, or client-facing sales experience is strongly preferred.
- Active mortgage agent license in good standing.
- A proven ability to build rapport, earn trust, identify client needs, and guide conversations toward a clear next step.
- Strong sales instincts, follow-up discipline, and comfort working with clients throughout a multi-step transaction.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain mortgage products and processes in a clear, client-friendly manner.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple active files, deadlines, documents, and stakeholder relationships at once.
- Comfortable working with CRM platforms, online document tools and mortgage or lender portals.
- A self-motivated, results-oriented approach and a genuine interest in helping clients.
What’s In It For You?
- Base salary of $60,000, plus a quarterly bonus structure designed to provide strong earning potential, with the opportunity to earn comfortably into six figures.
- An established client base and existing corporate relationships, allowing you to focus on serving clients rather than starting from scratch.
- The opportunity to work within a comprehensive financial-services platform that integrates mortgages, insurance, investments, financial planning, tax preparation, and estate planning.
- Meaningful exposure to high-quality client relationships and collaboration with experienced financial-services professionals.
- A dynamic, entrepreneurial, and high-performing work environment in Toronto’s financial district.
