Massage Therapy Instructor – Weekend
Location: PIMT Calgary Campus
Schedule: Saturdays, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM & Sundays, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM

Salary: 30$ per hour
Position Overview
PIMT Calgary is seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Massage Therapy Instructor to deliver weekend classes and provide students with engaging theoretical and practical instruction.
The successful candidate will support students in developing the knowledge, hands-on skills, professionalism, and competencies required for a career in massage therapy.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver theoretical and practical Massage Therapy instruction according to the approved curriculum.
- Demonstrate massage therapy techniques and provide hands-on guidance to students.
- Prepare and deliver lessons, activities, and practical demonstrations.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Evaluate student knowledge, practical skills, professionalism, and competencies.
- Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and student evaluation records.
- Create a professional, respectful, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Ensure students follow appropriate health, safety, sanitation, and professional practice standards.
- Communicate student concerns or additional support needs to the Program Coordinator.
- Follow all PIMT policies, procedures, curriculum requirements, and academic standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must have completed a minimum of 2,200 hours of Massage Therapy education/training.
- Strong knowledge of massage therapy theory, techniques, anatomy, physiology, and clinical practice.
- Relevant professional experience in Massage Therapy.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable delivering both theoretical and hands-on practical instruction.
- Previous teaching, training, clinical supervision, or mentorship experience is an asset.
- Must be available for the full weekend schedule: Saturdays from 8:30 AM–5:30 PM and Sundays from 8:30 AM–5:00 PM.
