About the Role
This is a junior role on our People & Culture team, reporting directly to the People & Culture Manager. You'll keep HR processes running for a team that spans Toronto and Mumbai, and you'll get hands-on exposure to the full employee lifecycle at a firm that is growing quickly.
Position: People & Culture Coordinator
Reports to: People & Culture Manager
Location: 161 Bay Street, Toronto (full time in office)
What You'll Do
- Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes for team members in Canada and India.
- Maintain accurate, confidential employee records and HR documentation.
- Track policy acknowledgments, training completion, and required documentation to support compliance with employment standards and internal policies.
- Help administer benefits, time off, and HRIS updates in Zoho People and Rippling.
- Coordinate recruitment logistics, including interview scheduling, candidate communication, and preparing offer and onboarding materials.
- Prepare payroll inputs such as new hires, changes, and time-off records, working with our payroll team.
- Support internal communications, team events, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Provide administrative support across the firm, including scheduling and document management.
- Help document and improve HR processes as the team grows.
What You'll Have
- Post-secondary education in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Progress toward the CHRP designation is an asset.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in an HR, administrative, or coordination role. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to manage several priorities at once.
- Discretion and sound judgment with confidential information.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
- Working knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft Office. Experience with an HRIS such as Zoho People, Rippling, or Humi is an asset.
- A service-oriented approach and a willingness to take on a range of tasks.
- Comfort working with colleagues across locations and time zones, including regular coordination with our Mumbai team.
