ORCAFY is hiring a full-time videographer to join our team and capture content for our clients. Most of our on-location shoots are for restaurants, cafés, and hospitality businesses, alongside clients in retail, real estate, automotive, and professional services.
We’re looking for someone who can understand a creative brief, arrive prepared, capture the required footage, and deliver an organized handoff to our team.
What you’ll do
Prepare for each shoot
- Review the client’s brief, content ideas, references, and shot list beforehand.
- Understand the shoot’s goals and what footage the team needs.
- Clarify any questions with the team before arriving.
- Prepare the equipment needed for the shoot.
Capture content on location
- Drive to client locations and arrive on time, ready to shoot.
- Capture footage suited to social media, including vertical video for Reels and other short-form content.
- Follow the brief while identifying opportunities for additional creative shots.
- Communicate professionally with clients and help people feel comfortable on camera.
- Manage your time to cover the planned shot list and flag anything that cannot be completed.
Organize and hand off footage
- Organize and clearly label footage by client, shoot date, and content idea.
- Upload all footage to the designated Google Drive folders and confirm the upload is complete.
- Send the team a post-shoot email covering:
- How the shoot went.
- What was filmed and completed.
- What was missed or could not be completed, and why.
- Any client feedback, issues, or follow-up needed.
- A link to the uploaded footage.

- A valid driver’s licence and your own car. This is required for the position.
- Availability for a full-time position with ORCAFY.
- Flexible availability, including occasional evenings, weekends, and shoots outside regular working hours.
- A portfolio demonstrating your videography skills.
- Strong camera, composition, lighting, and audio skills.
- The ability to understand a brief and work independently on location.

- A reliable, professional approach to working with clients and the ORCAFY team.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience filming restaurants, food, drinks, and hospitality content.
- Experience creating content for a variety of businesses.
