Job Type: Full‑time, 3 on/3 off Rotating 12‑hour shifts (days/nights, including weekends &
Holidays – 24/7/365 – non-negotiable)
Wage: $32.76 (starts at 90%, progressive until passed 6-month probationary period
(Start: $29.48, 3 months $31.12)
Paid: Fridays, weekly

We are seeking reliable, safety-minded individuals to join our Operations team as
Forming Specialists. You will receive training to operate specialized equipment used to manufacture high-quality glass fiber products for customers worldwide. In this role, you will help ensure that production targets, quality standards, and safety expectations are consistently met in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Each day brings new challenges, and you will work with a team that values safety, respect, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
What You’ll Do- Work safely and maintain good housekeeping across your area
- Learn and apply glass‑forming fundamentals
- Monitor and adjust processes to maintain high-quality standards
- Use Quality Control systems and understand Statistical Process Control (SPC)
- Support equipment reliability through inspection, lubrication, and restoration
- Troubleshoot process or equipment issues
- Operate forklifts and walkies (training provided, as needed)
Safety- Adhere to all OCF and Plant specific requirements
- Participate on safety teams
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Recognize, report and correct safety hazards upon identification
Quality- Follow all process controls and requirements
- Inspect all work for accuracy
Regular Attendance- Present and punctual for work as scheduled. Reliable transportation to support this.
- Must rotate shifts (12 hour shifts, 3 on – 3 off continual rotation 24/7/365)
- Willing to work overtime as needed
All other duties as assigned or needed- Flexible to changes that are needed to meet business demands to include cross training
Qualifications & Requirements- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Authorized to permanently work in Canada
- Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts (days and nights)
- Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts
Preferred Qualifications- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Forklift experience or willingness to be trained
Skills & Abilities- Safety-focused mindset and consistent adherence to procedures and requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Sound judgment and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production equipment
- Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
- Fine motor skills would be an asset
- Basic computer proficiency, including the use of production monitoring systems
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and contribute effectively as part of a team
- Clear, respectful, and supportive communication
- Effective planning, organization, and time management, with the ability to balance competing priorities
- Commitment to achieving production targets while maintaining safety and quality standards
