What We Need:
As an Associate Product Manager, you will play a hands-on role in supporting the development, launch, and continuous improvement of ORION’s products and services. Working closely with the Product and cross-functional teams across the organization, you will help turn customer needs, market insights, and technical requirements into practical solutions that deliver value to our community.
Key Activities:
- Research market trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities to inform product decisions
- Support the Product Team in defining, implementing, and refining product strategies
- Contribute to product and service lifecycle activities, including planning, requirements gathering, launch support, and ongoing enhancements
- Assist with product positioning, pricing, and go-to-market planning
- Help ensure product initiatives align with ORION’s strategy, goals, and the evolving needs of our community
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, decision-makers, and technical users
- Learn about customer objectives, challenges, and success measures to help shape relevant solutions
- Communicate product value clearly through presentations, meetings, and follow-up conversations
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Sales teams to support product planning and delivery
- Coordinate inputs, technical deliverables, and implementation planning across teams
- Share customer insights and feedback to strengthen product development, messaging, and adoption
Market & Opportunity Development
- Explore opportunities to deliver new value across education, healthcare, government, research, and innovation sectors
- Contribute ideas and analysis that support new product, service, and market development initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Some experience in product management, market research, data analysis, business analysis, or a related area
- Curiosity about technology, networking, cybersecurity, and digital services
- Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
- A collaborative working style and a willingness to learn in a fast-moving environment
Knowledge and Skills:
- Familiarity with cybersecurity solutions, such as SIEM, DDoS protection, or cloud security
- Exposure to IT infrastructure, telecom, or managed services environments
- Analytical and product discovery skills
- Good to have working knowledge of AI tools for research, analytics and prototyping
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and community engagement skills
Reporting Relationship
- This position reports to the Senior Product Manager
