Associate Consultant

Collingwood, ON (Remote/Hybrid) $70,000-80,000

The Opportunity

We're looking for an Associate Consultant to join our Group Benefits & Retirement team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and helping clients achieve positive outcomes.

A hybrid work arrangement is preferred. Remote candidates will also be considered, provided they are able to attend periodic in-person meetings, company events, and team gatherings throughout the year.

Working alongside Consultants and industry partners, you'll support a portfolio of clients through reporting, analysis, renewals, presentations, and ongoing plan management. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of consulting activities while developing your technical expertise, client management skills, and industry knowledge.

What You'll Do

Serve as a primary contact for assigned Group Benefits and Retirement clients.
Support plan renewals, implementations, and ongoing client service activities.
Analyze plan data and prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations.
Lead employee education sessions and contribute to client meetings and reviews.
Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
Build relationships with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders.
Stay current on industry trends, products, and regulations.
Contribute ideas that improve client experience, efficiency, and team success.

What You'll Bring

2+ years of experience in Group Benefits, Group Retirement, insurance, financial services, or a related industry.
Active LLQP licence is an asset
Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
Client-facing experience and a service-oriented mindset.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
A commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
