Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate project management activities, including financial, planning, and contracting aspects.
- Prepare formal work breakdown structures and compliance charts.
- Plan and coordinate the activities of project personnel, internal customers, contractors, and other support providers.
- Support the development of project-specific Sustainment Business Case Analyses and associated decision-support products.
- Develop SBCA work plans identifying scope, assumptions, analytical approach, schedule, governance touchpoints, decision-points, risks, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Identify schedule, risk, and dependency considerations across all SBCA phases.
- Deliver briefings on project progress and concerns.
- Report project progress on an ongoing basis and at scheduled points in the life cycle.
- Ensure management staff are provided with timely and accurate project information and status updates.
- Prepare executive-level briefing decks and governance briefing notes to support decision-making.
- Coordinate governance and decision-point identification throughout the project life cycle.
- Produce monthly status reports and task reports to support Technical Authority oversight.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience managing sustainment planning or Business Case Analysis (BCA)-related projects.
- Experience managing at least two sustainment planning or BCA-related projects, each lasting a minimum of six months.
- Experience presenting sustainment planning findings to senior decision-makers.
- Relevant professional certification.
- Education: University degree, or college or CEGEP diploma or certificate, in a relevant field of expertise.
