Keir Surgical, a founding member of the Pacific Surgical group of innovative healthcare companies, is seeking a Business Development Associate for full-time employment, based out of our Vancouver Office.
This position will report to our Director Business Development and will work closely with all members of the Sales and Management teams, with National responsibilities as follows:
Product Strategy & Business Development
- Drive growth across all assigned surgical product portfolios by executing targeted business plans
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new product launches
- Execute on product launch strategies and business development campaigns
- Analyze and pursue strategic growth opportunities within specific regional territories
Sales Support & Customer Engagement
- Actively participate in on-site customer sales calls, product trials, clinical in-services, and evaluations
- Represent the company at healthcare trade shows and industry conferences
- Create educational resources and deliver technical training to support the field sales team
- Partner with leadership to draft RFPs, structure contracts, and finalize complex clinical responses
Relationship & Vendor Management
- Maintain active, transparent communication with suppliers to ensure strong operational partnerships
- Cultivate new vendor collaborations aligned with company growth objectives
- Partner closely with and support internal sales, customer service, operations, and marketing teams
Professional Excellence & Administration
- Proactively build advanced clinical knowledge in specialized surgical fields and industry trends
- Manage travel, conference, and promotional budgets with a focus on cost-benefit analysis
- Represent Keir Surgical ethically and professionally in all corporate and public settings
- Complete administrative tasks as requested by managers
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Business Administration or Marketing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to present information
- Entrepreneurial attitude with a focus on customer service
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Professional and supportive team player with a can-do/will-do attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Skills
- French language skills, advanced Micosoft Excel and valid BC Driver’s License with access to a vehicle all considered an asset
Pay and Compensation Package
We offer a competitive remuneration package of $45,000 - $50,000 per year in predictable base salary (based on experience) with possible additional team performance-based bonus of $10,000 per year, paid quarterly. Compensation includes comprehensive benefits plan and RRSP matching.
